This is a buck that I had never seen before and it appeared out of nowhere during the rut. I was on the edge of a small woods; only 20 acres. This is a piece of land that we don't enter until rifle season. The third day of the second season and we had already taken a couple does and 1 nice buck out of this woods. Early in the evening I saw a doe come out; a 100" 8 point came out with her and he was rutting good. About 10 yards into the woods, I saw this narrow tall racked buck. As the doe worked the edge with the smaller buck, he remained just inside the woods not giving me a shot. 20 minutes before dark, they all left. My brother was on the back side of the woods, he shot at a doe and they all ran out 100 yards across the field. They stopped, there were 3 bucks all 8 pts and 1 doe. I picked out the big one and shot.
