The evening of day fifteen of Minnesota rifle season was spent on a hidden agricultural field. At sunset, I had a doe come out to the edge at 150 yards. Having a management tag to fill, I waited for a good shot. She stood head-on for a long time and finally I decided to take the chin shot; she dropped dead. I then looked down the edge 40 yards and this guy was giving me the same look; another neck shot, stone dead. My best buck to date.
